Founded in 1964 by Mr. Tahir Hassan Gardezi (at the ambitious age of 23, HB Furniture began with a singular vision: to bring uncompromising swedish craftsmanship to Pakistan. Trained extensively in Sweden, Mr. Gardezi instilled a culture of precision and structural integrity that remains the bedrock of our operations today.
Over the decades, we have evolved from a bespoke workshop into a formidable turnkey execution partner. Now under third-generation leadership, we blend heritage woodworking techniques with state-of-the-art architectural technology to deliver workspaces that define corporate legacy.

1964–1972 | The Beginning
Founded in 1964 by Mr. Tahir Hasan Gardezi, Hasan Brothers began as a kitchen furniture manufacturer after his diploma in woodworking from Swedish Pakistan Institute, Karachi. Within its first decade, the company secured major office and laboratory furniture contracts with Welcome Pharmaceuticals and Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, opened its first showroom, and established a 3,500 sq. yard manufacturing facility in Karachi.
1977–1989 | Major Projects & National Expansion
Hasan Brothers entered a new era of growth with landmark projects, including the Pakistan Steel Mills offices and residences contract worth US$1.7 million. The company expanded its showroom network across Karachi and Islamabad, introduced AutoCAD for design and drafting, and undertook major institutional projects including WAPDA’s Distribution & Control Center.
1992–2008 | Islamabad, Interiors & A New Generation
In 1992, manufacturing operations moved to a new factory in Islamabad. The company expanded beyond furniture manufacturing by establishing an Interior Design Department in 1996 and opened a three-story flagship showroom at I-10/3, Islamabad in 1999.
In 2006, Ms. Hira Gardezi, daughter of the founder, joined the company as an Interior Designer after completing her studies at Guelph-Humber University, Canada. The Islamabad showroom was subsequently relaunched in 2008 with a distinctive new outlook.
2012–2015 | Technology & Leadership
2016–2019 | From Furniture to Complete Workplace Solutions
Under the new leadership, Hasan Brothers evolved beyond traditional furniture manufacturing into a provider of complete office furnishing and interior solutions.
The company expanded its capabilities across custom furniture, executive offices, workstations, conference rooms, reception areas, storage systems, cabinetry, kitchens, interior woodwork, seating, and project execution.
Its client base and project portfolio also expanded across corporate, government, defence, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and institutional sectors, including projects associated with the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy
2020–2021 | Institutional & Multinational Growth
Hasan Brothers strengthened its presence among international development organizations and multinational corporations, undertaking furnishing projects associated with organizations including UNDP, WHO, UNICEF, Nestlé, and Huawei.
The company’s integrated capabilities in manufacturing, customization, design support, and project execution enabled it to serve increasingly diverse institutional and corporate requirements.
2022–2023 | Manufacturing at Scale & Integrated Execution
Hasan Brothers further expanded its manufacturing infrastructure with a 37,000-square-foot production facility, increasing capacity for large-scale furniture manufacturing, cabinetry, custom woodwork, and project-specific requirements.
Advanced CNC panel-sizing and PVC-edging technologies improved precision, consistency, finishing, and production efficiency.
By 2023, the company had evolved into an integrated furniture manufacturing, furnishing, interiors, and contracting business, supporting projects from design and material selection through manufacturing, installation, and final execution.
2024 | Six Decades of Experience
After six decades of continuous growth, Hasan Brothers had built a diverse portfolio spanning government institutions, defence organizations, multinational companies, pharmaceutical businesses, telecommunications companies, development agencies, and private-sector organizations.
Today, the company combines decades of manufacturing expertise, modern production technology, interior solutions, customization, and integrated project execution to deliver complete workplace and furnishing solutions.
